Welcome to Immanuel Church’s web site. Your interest in Immanuel Church is important and I hope if this is your first connection with Immanuel there will be many more that will follow. If you ever pass our church at night time you’ll see why Immanuel is called “the church with the lighted cross.” The symbol or metaphor of “light” is a true representation of Jesus Christ. In John 8:12 Jesus proclaims that He is the Light of the world. Immanuel’s illuminated cross reminds all of us that for Christ to be our light we must recognize and receive the good news of the Gospel. John 3:16 – 18 tell us For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. After you review our web site I hope you’ll give us the privilege of meeting you personally. I invite you to Immanuel’s Sunday morning worship service that begins at 10:30am. You will meet and join new friends in our life-long adventure of “walking in the light of our Savior. Pastor Pete
